| Evaluation
Framework The Maastricht Learning Lab and the Stanford Learning Lab, started a cooperation to design a method to prepare, manage and evaluate Learning Lab educational technology projects. The initiative was taken to overcome one of the most troublesome aspects of educational interventions: evaluation of the process and the results. This cooperation has resulted in a first paper for the E-CSCL, to be held in Maastricht, March 2001. |

| Alumni
and Life Long Learning Near the end of 2000 the first plans were made to support the new Alumni policy of the University Maastricht with technical facilities for Life Long Learning. The plans are to incorporate a Knowledge Transfer Site into the Alumni Net that is currently under construction. This Knowledge Transfer Site will provide alumni the opportunity to communicate with each other and the faculty in so-called Knowledge Circles. These Knowledge Circles are groups of people interested in a specific subject, or following a post academic course. These plans are under development and will be presented to the University Board in the beginning of 2001. This project is a cooperation of the Learning Lab and the Student Service Centre of the University Maastricht. |
